
Obstetrics and Gynecology — Year 5
This course develops safe clinical reasoning across antenatal care, labour, childbirth, the postpartum period and obstetric emergencies.
Learning route
- Review the clinical laboratory, safety algorithms and current official sources.
- Work through the clinical scenarios and identify risks, priorities and escalation thresholds.
- Complete the practical assignment and the topic assessment with answer explanations.
- Review errors and revisit the relevant material until the clinical reasoning is secure.
Expected outcome
By the end of the course, students can assess pregnant, labouring and postpartum patients, recognise maternal or fetal deterioration, coordinate team-based care and justify a safe clinical pathway.
Clinical decisions must be aligned with current Ministry of Health of Ukraine documents, local care pathways and current international guidance.
