A special feature is that this academic discipline enables students to master certain dental procedures associated with the treatment and prevention of caries, its complications, periodontal tissue diseases, oral mucosa and other dental diseases in children. Students learn to analyze the results of a patient's examination, substantiate and formulate a syndromic diagnosis, carry out differential diagnostics, conduct primary and secondary prevention of the most common diseases in the clinic of pediatric therapeutic dentistry
